She could explain concepts to me in a way I could understand and in a manner that was kind. (Heavens know money can be an emotional burden.) I was anxious that time would run over - and it indeed did, but she did not clip it short, nor did she expect hidden compensation. As both a Veteran and a member of the LGBTQ I felt highly respected and genuinely listened to. She offered a few courses of actions without pressure toward any one, and further resources, contacts, and options. I followed through with her advice and this lead me to not pursue forward with her at this time - but I am still reeling with how incredible my consultation with her was. I wanted to leave a review for Nikki Farris, my mother went to Nikki for some help. My mom was very embarrassed and very down on herself when she walked into Nikki's office. As soon as she walked in she said the receptionist greeted her in such a way that my mom instantly felt a little more relaxed, she felt welcome. My mom walked into the office and told Nikki she probably was going to cry, my mom said all Nikki did was hand her a tissue box and told her that that was ok. I love that I don't have to worry about my mom stressing out more than she needs to. I have heard horror stories from my friends that have gone through the same thing my mother is going through. But not my mom! Nikki was so kind, so compassionate, and has really helped my mom feel better about her situation. So I guess what I am saying... Is thank you Nikki!
